To get OFF your body what’s sitting ON your chair, I’d like to add: “You got to get OFF your bottom to get OFF your bottom.”
That’s a lofty thought! Other deep thoughts on exercise are answered in an article titled: “Finally! True Answers to Diet Questions.” (Thanks, Julie and Mindy for sending this our way! See the rest of it on my “Just For Fun” link at http://www.AngelGraceNotes.com).
Q: I’ve heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that’s it. Don’t waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer. That’s like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap!
Well, I hope you’re laughing! Here’s another question. For real this time:
When have you come home from exercising, when you didn’t feel better about nearly everything significant in your life? Hardly ever? Me too.
Enough said! Take a deep breath, plant your feet firmly on the floor, gently shift the weight to your feet and … You did it! You’re standing! Out of the chair and ready to go! Say it kindly, say it now: “You gotta get OFF your bottom to get OFF your bottom …”
